[Gau, did you really not expect him to notice this? Did you really? Out of all the outcomes, spotting Gau with the cat is probably the best for both of them. If he'd seen only the cat, after all, he'd have gotten rid of it.]

And did you even think to get the cat its shots? Or bother to check into any diseases it might be carrying? It's filthy. I'll give you ten minutes to get rid of it.

It's from the pet store! If even the pet store doesn't take care of the animals like that, then I don't know how this city isn't overrun by rabid animals! Have you even see a sick animal here, Togami-san?

Are you forgetting about the time the Landlord saw fit to release a horde of wild animals in Holly Heights? Who's to say it simply hasn't been necessary up until now, hence why they haven't thought to do it?

I checked him for fleas, and as far as I can tell, he's perfectly healthy!

[He's not scared of a cat, animals are just dirty and they stink and they pee on things. He doesn't need that in his life.]

I don't want the house smelling like cat piss or to find cat hair on my clothing. [cats are gross, dogs are gross, animals smell.]

[Because he'd hidden them pretty well away in the back corner of his closet, so at least Togami was staying true to his word that he didn't care enough to snoop.]

[At least they have a dislike of cat pee smell in common. And nope, you have discovered a new fact about Togami: if he doesn't actually give a shit and thinks something is boring, he's not going to bother looking into it or doing anything about it. Gau's room is the height of boredom for him, so he hasn't touched it.]

You're not allowed to feed him either! [He wouldn't put it below Togami to poison the poor thing.]

I'd sooner let it starve. [at least he's... honest. It's not his cat, he wouldn't feed it anyway. And that would really be a waste of good poison, you know. Not that he has a use for that here, that is.]
