Hello, Mr. Togami. It is nice to see you today.

[Introductions were always important, even if they were housemates. Then again, she had been out for the day, and this was the first time she had seen him.

She smiles sweetly, staring at him with a kind but polite gaze.]

Thank you very much for the macaron you left for me. It was delicious!

[Sonia had come to the conclusion that his demand for her to eat it was so that the landlord could make due on his promise to reward those who gave them out. She had eaten one before, and thus was not scared of immediate effects.]

[So she had eaten it, then? But nothing had happened, presumably. She didn't mention feeling any different, and she was acting the same as she always was. Or at least, the same as she'd acted since he met her shortly after she arrived. That was certainly interesting.

Togami steps aside and nods toward a table sitting in the middle of the room. It was a relatively clean table, except for one flipped over file that he'd been using earlier in the day. He's not taking that plate from you, Sonia, you can just leave it there. He'll decide what to do with it later.]

Leave it on that table there. [at least he didn't take it and throw it in the garbage. (yet).]

[She doesn't comment on the lack of thanks (at this point, she didn't expect any), instead walks by him towards the table.

When she arrives at the table, she must move the file out of the way to make room for the plate-

And in doing so, flips it over so the label is clearly read. She doesn't pick it up, but puts down the plate and turns to Togami.]

[He was kind of expecting Sonia to just leave, because that's the polite thing to do. But now she's asking about that file he'd gotten back, purely for the sake of insurance. If the police wanted "evidence," should Fukawa return, he has that evidence right there for them. The file did, of course, speak for itself, assuming she can read the label. So, he feels no need to clarify that part.]

You can consider it an insurance policy. Regardless, it's a personal matter.

[She would have respected Togami's privacy the moment he said it was a personal matter and exited the room, as was the polite thing to do...

...If she had not read the label. It was a blessing and a curse, to be able to read in 30 languages.]

"Genocider Syo?"

[Once more she turns to Togami, shock plastered across her face.]

[Before the school life of mutual killing happened, Togami would be just as smug as ever to get the chance to talk about how he found out the infamous Genocider Syo's identity. Now? Now just hearing the name is enough to make him frown. Heavily.]

...Unfortunately. As does everyone from my class. [~~ask him about the time he tried to manipulate a crime scene to look like her work, go on, that's a fun story.~~]

[She's gone sheet white, and tiny beads of sweat form at her brow. She almost trembles when Togami confirms it, and for a moment it looks like she might faint right there and then.]

[And instantly, she's stepping forward to stand right in front of Togami, her eyes sparkling.]

[Her reaction, at first, was what he expected. Because that was how everyone seemed to react to the mere mention of Genocider Syo. Even he was a bit surprised when she first showed up and actually started speaking. Mostly because he... wasn't sure how a serial killer like that would act in person. But her real response? Yeah, he was not expecting that. And she wanted stories. Honestly, he's not even sure how to respond to her now.]

I'd hardly describe that aspect of my life as fortunate. The only sort of fantastic she is, is a fantastic pain in the ass.

"She"? Genocider Syo is a woman? This is shocking! The rumors are true!

[God, if it was possible for her to look happier...]

I am so very glad to see more female representation in the male dominated world of serial killing! This is a step towards true equality!

[And if he thought he didn't understand Sonia before... Sure, he gets having a fascination with serial killers. Their cases were arguably some of the more interesting ones. But this... this was something different. Sonia, what even.

But maybe he can get some use out of this.]

Perhaps I should tell you her true identity, in that case. In the event she returns to Holly Heights, I charge you with the task of keeping her out of my sight.

[Any more and Sonia might literally explode into happiness and rainbows.]

Uwah! I would be hella gladdened to know the true self of the fantastic Genocider Syo! Please tell me! If she ever were to come here again, it would be my honor to speak with her at length!

As I said before, all that I need you to do is keep her away from me. It's no doubt easier said than done, but I'm sure you can manage. [or rather, you'd better be able to manage!!!]
